Comparison and Contrast

Yesterday, I learned about comparison and contrast in a Discourse Approach in Reading class. Comparison and contrast told to similarities and difference between two or more things. We use it when we want to explain or describe how two or more things were alike or different. The words refer to show comparisons are both, same, like, common, in the same way and similar etc. The words refer to show contrasts are while, however, although, unlike, difference and yet etc.

From the text ‘Men and Women: Do they speak the same language?’, I agreed with Tannen’ s view. Because men and women spoke different and cross -cultural communication. The important thing, men and women had very different about thinking. Men spoke and do everything for win and business. But women spoke for communication.
